Wild Jura in the Land of Cowbells and Bilberries
Trekking and Rambling
- Code : 75.2011
- Duration : 7 Days / 6 Nights
- Dates : 1 May to 30 September
- Luggage transport : Yes
The cowbell, hung around the neck of the cows by a piece of softly curbed pinewood, has a soft, melodious sound. Soft and gentle as the relief of our land…The bilberry is a savoury red fruit that colours your lips and fingers after a gourmet moment spent picking them in the woods…Peat bog, forest, hillock, stream…anthill, chamois, heron…During this hike there is reason for frequent stops: the laps are relatively short. Between the Plateau des Rousses and the Mont des Verrières, the itinerary mainly follows the GR5 path. The hoteliers and Inn-keepers who helped us design the itinerary also add some nature in the evenings…in your plate: a regional and traditional cuisine, comfortable but nevertheless typical accommodation. Between cowbells and bilberries there is a savoury harmony.
