A border-crossing itinerary via the French Lorraine. A large circuit during which you will change accommodation each night. It will take you into France to visit the Montmédy citadel and the basilica of Avioth before moving on to Orval and its Cistercian Abbey. You will then continue along the Semois river to reach Virton after a 6-day hike. The Gaume is our “little Provence”. You can discover the Gaume region on foot, riding a cycle or on horseback thanks to this itinerary.
